Close-up Photographer of the Year （CUPOTY）由美國雜誌《Outdoor Photography》前編輯創立，是一項有關微距攝影（Macro photography）、顯微攝影（Micro photography）及特寫攝影（Close-up photography）的年度比賽，旨於讓人們以不同方式看世界。本年比賽共分為 7 個類別，主辦方已公佈得獎名單。

2020 年度的比賽共收到來自 52 個國家的 6,500 項參賽作品，年度總冠軍及 Animals 類別冠軍由法國攝影師 Galice Hoarau 獲得，作品「Eel Larva」（上圖）展示著他在印尼藍碧島夜潛中，拍攝所得的鰻魚幼蟲，其柔軟身體泛著藍光，非常出眾。
