早前已提及過「蘋果電腦公司將停止 Aperture 軟件發展」，雖然 Aperture 不乏支持者，但看來他們亦無意於此市場繼續競爭，相信 Adobe 在這業界會更為獨大。而 Adobe 亦正式推出「Aperture Importer」這個免費插件，就是讓用戶將現存的 Aperture 及 iPhoto library 簡單轉到 Lightroom，會傳送的資料包括︰

· Flags
· Star Ratings
· Keywords
· GPS Data
· Rejects
· Hidden Files
· Color Labels*
· Stacks*
· Face Tags*

*這三項會以 keyword 形式轉存。

據說明指，由於 Aperture 及 iPhoto 進行的照片編輯，並不能於 LR 上讀取，所以插件會自動存入原圖檔及已修改圖檔。而插件只支援 LR 5.6 及 Mac 機版本。
