就這樣看上圖，你或許會覺得是甚麼植物之類，以顯微鏡放大後的影像，很普通不過，但是當你看到以下的 GIF 圖，相信會覺得非常奇妙︰

真是超厲害的放大，感覺就像是在一隻小蟲中找到一個宇宙！？具體來說，這是端足目動物上的一顆矽藻上的一類細菌！

影像是來自 James Tyrwhitt-Drake，他在 2012 年於維多利亞大學的 Advanced Microscopy Facility 中拍攝，並且將此影像上載到他自己的 Tumblog「Infinity Imagined」。在肉眼看不到的微小地方，卻可以發現到一整個世界，就像網民 adamwong246 所終極形容︰「There’s a bacterium on a diatom on an amphipod on a frog on a bump on the log in the hole in the bottom of the sea!」
