由倫敦自然史博物館 (Natural History Museum) 舉辦的 野外生態攝影大賽2016 (Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2016) 比賽賽果已經公佈。本年的年度照片，由美國攝影師 Tim Laman 的作品「Entwined Lives」獲得，擊敗來自 95 個國家、超過 50,000 幅作品。

成年組總冠軍 — 年度照片

作品名稱：Entwined Lives
攝影師：Tim Laman
作品簡介：攝影師於印尼熱帶雨林中，在 3 天間爬上 30 米高的樹、放置多部 Gopro 相機，成功拍到一隻婆羅洲猩猩爬到樹上的畫面。

評審團之一、倫敦自然歷史博物館館長 Sir Michael Dixon 說：「Wildlife Photographer of the Year highlights some of the big questions for society and the environment: How can we protect biodiversity? Can we learn to live in harmony with nature? The winning images touch our hearts, and challenge us to think differently about the natural world.」

由於棲息地不斷被破壞、伐木、非法偷獵嚴重。婆羅洲猩猩正面臨危機，這次的作品道出了現今社會的重大議題：我們應如何保護生物的多樣性？我們能學會與大自然和諧共處嗎？
