據新聞報導，早前肯亞有示威抗議活動，要求改革當地的選舉問題，後來演變成激烈衝突。而來自美聯社的攝影師 Ben Curtis，則拍攝到上圖及一系列照片，展示了當地警察的極暴力行為，就如上圖毒打一名已躺在路邊的男人。有報導指此男人名叫 Boniface Mosoti，當天根本就沒有參與示威，只是去完工作面試回家時剛好路過，就被警察抓住打了一身。

照片在國際引起激烈迴響，甚至引發檢討警察制度等要求，而攝影師本人，則沒有想過會得到這效果，因為「那只是每天日常的其中一小段」，同類事情天天在發生。以下影片可看到其他照片。
