由國家地理舉辦的 國家地理年度自然攝影比賽 2016 (National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year) 早前公佈了比賽結果，比賽分為 Landscape、Animal Portraits、Action 和 Environmental Issues 四大分類，年度大獎得獎者可以獲得加拉帕戈斯群島（Galápagos Islands）雙人十天旅程和獎金 USD2,500（約 HKD20,000）。

今年總冠軍得主為法國攝影師 G. Lecoeur，他在南非海岸拍攝到不同的捕食者都在追逐沙甸魚，這照片在早前的「SIPAContest 國際攝影比賽 2016」也同樣獲得了總冠軍，其他各得獎作品可瀏覽如下。
