慈善組織 Birds on the Brink 舉辦的年度雀鳥攝影師比賽（BPOTY）時至第五屆，比賽分為八個類別，旨於透過照片表現鳥類的美麗和多樣性，年度攝影師得獎者可獲 5,000 英鎊（約 51,500 港元）現金獎，主辦方早前已公佈 2020 年得獎名單。

本年比賽收到來自世界各地的超過 15,000 個參賽作品，年度攝師影大獎由科威特攝影師 Majed Alza’abi 憑作品「End of the Day」奪得（上圖），照片以在挪威拍攝的歐洲綠鸕鶿 （European shag）為主體，此作品同為「Best Portrait」組別冠軍。
