有一些網民（或大學生）就補充，其實 16 間大學真的太少了，文中還漏提了很多地方、其建築都和魔法學院相近，例如美國的 Wells College 校園結構上根本就是小型版的霍格華玆。而同在美國的慄山學院（Chestnut Hill College）更有哈利波特節；此外還有普林斯頓大學、密西根大學圖書館等等。
